Cooking Secrets Birmingham Woman's Club cookbook contains some wonderful community recipes and 60's advertisements from the Michigan-based club. The recipes are varied with many standouts like Ship-Wreck Stew, Potato Croquettes, German Potato Salad, Guatamala Soup, Danish Layer Cake, Lemon Fluff Pie, and Cherry Pudding Cake with Sauce. Wow. This is a great find.

There is no date, but there are several car advertisements mentioning that time period and the back cover is for a 1962 Pontiac. Recipes contain the names of the respective contributors. There are some wonderful recipes like Mayor Florence Willett's Hot Pot or the Creamed Chicken on Cornbread. We also spot a tasty recipe for Vienna Tarts and another for New England Rum Cream Pie.
